BLACK POLICE ASSOCIATION 18 October 2008

I had the pleasure and privelege to perform for the Metropolitan Black Police Association’s Celebration of life on London’s South Bank.

The bill included some great artist’s including, Peter Hunningale, Roachford and the magnificent Alison Hinds.

I haven’t seen a woman work a crowd like that before…She was the queen bee!

I also have to say, I had no idea what the crowd’ reaction would be as the bill was largely Socca, Soul and Reggae. They went bananas and absoloutely made my night!

Thanks for all your supportive comments about Jonathan Ross. I was as surprised as all you to be on the show, but it was an unforgettable experience!

All the best,
Bishi

I came along to BPA Celebration of life as I heard you were playing there and enjoyed a great night of really varied performances. Alison Hind may have been Queen Bee but you showed the people something they probably haven’t seen before and stole the show in my view!!

* Bishi says * You're too kind - it was a wonderful night - I hope they ask me to do it again !
