KASHPOINT 2008 27 May 2008
We decided to bring Kashpoint back for one night only. We did it cause we missed it. We did it cause we wanted it. We did it as the official launch party of ‘On My Own Again.’
The looks were outstanding, all coins sequins and sparkles. The party was in celebration of the Credit Crucnh, the crash and the collapse terrifying the UK at present.
It got messy on the dance floor. People were simulating sex, pulling eachother’s trousers down; there was violent lipsynching and heterosexuals snogging everywhere. Someone came as a giant Occultish pyramid. People would get under the Pyramid, and then it would topple over with legs splaying about. Kabir tried to sit on the point- It almost looked kinky.
It was pure class.
The finale saw everyone shimmying to ‘Money,’ from Cabaret all pissed on
