THE CHURCH, SYRACUSE 03 April 2009
The Church is a studio in upstate NY in a place called Syracuse.

It used to be a methodist church that David Peters and Tim renovated into a residential studio full of strange instruments and analogue equipment sprawling in its expansive space.
Here is a picture of David and Tim.

The former congregational space could fit a small orchestra in there, it’s so big.
I have been recording segments of the upcoming album ‘Albion Voice,’ in there , though my funding had dried up a bit.
I don’t know when I’ll be there but I would encourage you all to go. It’s fantastic.
This is David Peters myspace if you want to contact him about recording at The Church:

David also has a really amazing mobile recording kit, full of great analogie microphones and processors that give your recording a touch of class.
We did most of ‘Nights at the Circus,’ on it in a bed sit in Shepherds Bush. Rock on with the DIY style, I say.
Here we are in folk music recording ship called Hobgoblin recording stuff for a track called ‘Ship of Fools.’

Ship of fools is going to be a bit like our version of Hey Jude crossed with the visions of Alice in Woderland, illustrator John Tenniel. Oh won’t you sing along with me!
I’m back in London now….See you around!
