The £50, 000 award is the largest sum given towards the development of a piece of New music. Bigger than the Mercury Music Prize, it has been dubbed as ‘The Turner Prize of New Music,’ and seeks to raise debate & push the boundaries on what music could be.

Having already spoken to Lauren Laverne on 6Music to discuss the finalists, Bishi has been, ‘Stunned by the breadth of creativity. It’s going to be a real challenge to decide the winner.’
